Today is Samvatsari, last day of the eight day festival of Jains. As I complete my fasting and reflect back, I really feel sorry for the strained relationship I developed with one of my friend. I'm not here to confess or delve into how it happened or whose mistake was it. It is just that it reminds me of the first poem I read which inspired me to hold a pen and start writing.

Hello World,

For 40 weeks, I was living in my own dream world preparing myself to greet this world. Everybody was waiting with bated breadth to usher me. Come May 17th 2009 18:06:10 hrs, I announced my arrival with a big loud cry.

Trying to get my fingers moving on keyboard after a hiatus of 12 years. Started with couple of my fav Bollywood melodies. Hopefully shall be able to get my left hand on chords soon. For now, it's just an amateur attempt to create some sound out of those chopsticks.

This is the story of a software engineer who once decided to take the path of a drifter where he could romanticize with virtually anything thrown at him. A fictional story inspired by real life events. CAUTION: It's written in an eccentric state of mind so read it at your own risk.
