 Trying to get my fingers moving on keyboard after a hiatus of 12 years. Started with couple of my fav Bollywood melodies. Hopefully shall be able to get my left hand on chords soon. For now, it's just an amateur attempt to create some sound out of those chopsticks.

 I just finished watching "Gulaal" and was absolutely blown away by the fantastic performance exhibited by a great ensemble cast. As a matter of fact, it's a pity that this movie was stuck for 6 years since there was nobody ready to finance it. There are so many similar good low budget movies that have a story to tell with very fine actors but unfortunately very few get endorsed. So who is to blame for this total apathy towards good cinema?

 What really defines patriotism? Before I could even make my humble attempt to try and define it, I see so many things around me that masquerade themselves as purported symbols of patriotism.
Shouting slogans on streets, Slumdog bashing, ushering Team India (Yeah, there is only 1 sport and 1 team in India. You could say "It's not cricket" but it is Cricket indeed), donating to charity organizations with the only purpose of getting tax benefits. Believe it or not, most of us live in this strange kind of fallacy where we get a false sense of patriotic pride virtually out of nothing or rather very trivial and petty things.
